Convivio has been an experience of 2 weeks of interaction design workshop in Edinburgh: the aim of the workshop was designing an interactive service for The Fringe festival that was taking place in that period.
My workshop class, Capturing Experience, was composed by people from all over the world with different skills and experience, as psycology, interior, graphic and interaction design or marketing and advertisement.
We worked completely immerse in the city and the festival that was going on, interviewing people that had to face a lot of events: we tried to understand their needs, finally prototyping a possible service to help people communicating their ideas and feelings during the festival.
The video below collects our thoughts and the final idea: interactive columns that collect people comments, ideas and messages. Because we discover that one of the most important things to involve people during such a big and crowded event, is to give them the possibility to share that "they where there".
